About the event

Abstract (english version):

The need for sustainable, high-performance energy storage and conversion systems has never been more critical as we transition towards a greener future. This presentation delves into two cutting-edge technologies that promise to revolutionize energy storage and power generation: Metal-Air Batteries and Microfluidic Fuel Cells. Metal-Air Batteries, known for their high energy density and potential for long-lasting power, offer an exciting alternative to traditional lithium-ion batteries, addressing both environmental and efficiency concerns. Meanwhile, Microfluidic Fuel Cells represent a breakthrough in portable power sources, leveraging small-scale fluidic channels to optimize fuel usage and minimize energy waste. Together, these technologies pave the way for innovations in clean energy, with applications ranging from electric vehicles to wearable devices. This session will explore their mechanisms, current challenges, and future prospects, shedding light on how they could shape the next generation of energy solutions.
